Based in Dublin and founded in 1990, New Decade is an award-winning production company with extensive experience in the creation and production of high quality factual and entertainment programming, feature films and dramas.

Two decades to tell one complex true story…
Great stories take time. In 2009, Ciaran and Nuala started building a relationship with Fr Alec Reid about his secret meetings and negotiations with leaders of the political parties and paramilitaries in Northern Ireland during the Troubles. In 2023, Reid’s story was finally revealed in a feature-length documentary ‘The Secret Peacemaker’ that aired on RTE and BBC Northern Ireland.
